For Sesame Workshop, diversity is a core value and one of the recruiting team’s most important key performance indicators. The organization also follows the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Program (OFCCP) regulations, and has an affirmative action plan.

She explains, “We use a report that shows the demographics of people who applied and were hired. We keep track of each department, and if we identify a lack of diversity, we proactively seek out more diverse candidates.”
